Remove the door by pulling it out of the top track of the door frame. Just type lsailor1 in the youtube search bar. Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw. To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver.

Look for the hole in the door over the tracks or on the inside of the door. If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step. Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go. Cover the foam insulation with trim and add a small amount of caulk to the visible joint between the trim and interior wall area.

Place the door horizontal on the saw horses. Insert the screwdriver at the bottom to lift the rollers from the track. Use a putty knife to remove the excess after it dries. Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door.

This video shows you how to take apart sliding glass doors. Your sliding glass will probably have a hole on the side. The door should slide right out of the top track once you ve freed it from the bottom track. Use expanding foam insulation to seal any gaps between the door frame and wall.
